Monster Board Basketball: Fantasy Leaderboard

The following leaderboard was developed through acute analysis of fantasy value, current and expected production, injury status, and my own personal biases.  Look for the leaderboard to come out bi-weekly, with updated rankings partially based on your comments.

1 Lebron James, Cle, SF
On pace for another career year--plus, shooting over 50% for the 1st time
2 Chris Paul, NO, PG
Back at it again; averaging 14 assists and 3.5 steals since his return

Still putting up fantastic #'s--hopefully finger injury doesn't set him back

Continuing extraordinary play from last year—over 1 steal and 1 block per
Kevin Durant, OKC, SG/SF

11 Deron Williams, Uta, PG
Entered new level--averaging 30pts and 13 assists over past 3
12 Brandon Roy, Por, PG/SG
As advertised, picked up play in Oden's absence--26 pts/past 6

Looking in...

Dwight HowardDevin HarrisMarcus CambyNene Hilario, Rudy Gay, Al Horford, Rajon Rondo, Mo Williams

Now it's your turn!  Who am I missing?  Who should be out of the top 34?  Let me know what your thoughts are and I'll tell you if you're wrong.

  1. Sorry I just don't understand how your ranking this?

Dwight Howard didn't even make you list...................................REALLY!?

The Guys leads the N.B.A. in Reb's, hes 2nd in the N.B.A. in blocks, he averages 18 points a game,......And is just coming off of one of his best nights ever (21pts, 23rebs, and 3blk..........And he still not on your list............Really???

  2. He's creeping his way onto it. I'm telling you, it all has to do with his FT%. He takes so many attempts and misses so many that it would be very difficult for a fantasy team to win the FT category just because of him!

  3. Over 17 points a game, over 13 Rebounds a game, over 2 Blocks a game (league leader), over a steal a game, and shoots over .600%........But he's not in you top 35.........Thats fucked.......
So what he sucks at the ft line......
He should be in you top 10..

  4. It will be out tonight, January 12!

  5. i agree. dwight howard should be in the top 10. he leads the league in rebounds and blocks. you rank josh smith at 18 and his little blurb says:

"Shooting is still up over 50%, and leading the league in blocks"

dwight howard has a higher fg% and has more blocks and more rebounds. and they have the same ft%!!!!! no doubt smith is valuable at his forward position for those contributions and he adds assists and only slightly more steals.

but the dwight howard snub is ridiculous. these are horrible rankings

  6. The only # that is up for Howard is his FG%, pts and rebounds are both down compared to his last 2 years.
